Why we are here...
Those who are in relationships with someone in another
state, country, or area code know that Long Distance Relationships (LDRs) present
their own unique rewards and challenges. If you’re brave enough to commit to one, you will find this site to be a place
to relax and unload the stress created by living apart from loved ones. You can spend time with the inspirations and experiences
of the people on the Long Distance Relationship message board.
If you are feeling like others around you simply don't
understand your LDR experience, please drop by our message board and make a post. You'll get support and advice from people
just like you who are also living the day to day challenges of long distance. If you feel alone or isolated, it
may help to be reminded of just how many others are in similar situations. Think about the military families, the peace corps,
exchange students, work abroad programs, missionaries, online loves, and all the others who have blazed the trail. Whether
you fit one of those categories or not, it’s likely someone on our board has been through something like what you’re
feeling.
